MECHANICAL FITTER - M&E CONTRACTOR - LIMERICK
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client are an M&E Contractor who work on major projects in the
areas of Mechanical Services, Air Conditioning, Electrical Services
and Process Engineering for Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical and
Medical Clients
You will be responsible for managing daily MGPS maintenance tasks and
delivering maintenance project packages
Candidate must have ‘MGPS Competent Person’ qualification or
relevant trade background.
Training can be given.
This is a multi-site based role reporting into head office.
You will be teamed up with apprentice / Engineer working in live
hospital, laboratories and pharma sites
Responsible for the provision of method statements, risk assessments
and other relevant documentation
Drawing interpretation and reporting skills essential
MGPS maintenance procedures and testing
Comply with onsite Permit to Work System
Support project managers and maintenance team
REQUIREMENTS
Competent Person Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS) Qualification -
Preferable but not essential.
Competent in requirement of HTM * medical gases
standards and regulations.
3+ years’ experience post qualification desirable
Experience in hospital environment desirable
Experience in a medical/pharma contracting environment desirable
Understand the operation and maintenance of medical gas supply units
Understand on site emergency supply provisioning
Be commercially astute and technical knowledge to engage with
engineers and client
